Virtually zero waste coverage
Whether it involved a singing toothbrush tumbler, a designer teacup or high-grade watch - visitors to Hall 18 were able to see the entire gamut of promotional products over the five days of the exhibition. A total of 23,000 visitors came to view the latest trends, along with an array of established classics. Exhibitors rated the four Trade Visitor Days highly favorably and, although the overall number of visitors was down, their assessment of customer quality was considerably more positive. According to Patrick President of the German promotional products association GWW, as well as President of the German federation for promotional product suppliers BWL: "The quality of visitors was good, which is surely attributable the Trade Visitor Days. And the level of waste coverage was considerably lower," he concluded.
"We are 100% behind PROMOTION WORLD," declared Günter Eisele, Vice President of the promotional products association Arbeitskreis Werbemittel. "There is simply no alternative to this show. What we need now is constructively develop the event in cooperation with exhibitors, associations and Deutsche Messe so that we can completely exploit the event's potential."
A total of 120 exhibitors presented their products on around 3,000 square meters of display space. The proximity to HANNOVER MESSE allowed for direct access to marketing decision-makers at industrial enterprises - an advantage which exhibitors rated highly.
Inexpensive giveaways were just as much a part of this year's PROMOTION WORLD as were high-grade products for premium clients. The main trends at the show included environmentally sustainable products made of recycled materials and renewable resources. But a range of "traditional" products like writing implements, binders, folders or flags - tried and tested items - were also in strong demand. For those customers looking to provide their business partners with something out of the ordinary, promotional product suppliers concentrated on special designs and high-grade finishing.
