Airport Hildesheim (German website) is a quick and cheap alternative for visiting the exhibition with your own airplane. 1100 m runway and an MTOW of 5,7 t offer lots of possibilities. The airport is licensed for all kinds of planes. Even bigger machines are allowed to descend in isolated cases with a special allowance.
